Organic Cigars!
Finally someone is producing affordable genuine hand rolled organic cigars. Gonzalez Habano Cigar Co. of Tampa, Florida is a true maverick in the tradition of hand rolling cigars for over 80 years. This is a gigantic step in the world of cigar smoking. Very few manufacturers produce these masterpieces especially in such a wide variety of sizes and styles. This forum is for posting about organic cigars and related topics.

Tampa's own Cigar University!
The industry and tradition that started the city of Tampa has dwindled down to just a few factories and even fewer small factories carrying the tradition on into the 21st century. In an effort to revive the cigar making heritage and a true lost art, the G&H folks bring us actual classes on how the pros roll.
(It is a lot more difficult than it looks.)

| A world record cigar! |

101 feet long... WOW!
On November 18th 2006 Wally and the crew rolled a new world record cigar. The previous record was 67 feet or so and that was busted early in the evening at the Cigar Heritage Festival in Ybor City (Tampa, FL). The sun had set by the time the goal was reached. With cold weather making the tobacco briddle there was a good chance that the cigar may not ever reach completion, but it did. Arteuro Fuente Junior was one of the judges that validated the mammoth stogie. The rest is history, unless someone rolls a bigger one before July, the deadline for getting into the Guinness World Book of Records for 2008.
